Recovery metrics seem inconsistent – why is Garmin telling me to skip workouts for 3 days?

Good morning, these data are starting to make less and less sense to me. This is the third day in a row that the system has told me to skip my workout.

On Sunday, I reduced the intensity even though I felt fine. Yesterday, I trained anyway because I felt fine, and today it is once again telling me to skip the workout because my aerobic recovery is still low, influenced by a low HRV status.

Honestly, I don’t understand what’s going on. I also completed a Health Snapshot with my Garmin 955 and have included the results.

You can clearly see the downward trend in your HRV (red line) vs grey normal band. Garmin and AI Endurance agree on it.

Ultimately it’s up to you what you do with that information (if you’re feeling completely fine maybe you are fine) but the data is pretty clear
