Bulk .FIT file upload: import your full training history

You can now upload your entire .FIT file history in one go. Drop individual .FIT files or a single zip archive containing hundreds of files. A 10 MB zip with ~1000 activities uploads in about 3 seconds.

This is especially useful if you want to go beyond the last 2 years of data that Garmin and other platforms typically make available through their APIs. The more training history your digital twin has access to, the more accurate your predictions and the more personalized your training plan.

You can directly drop the entire file from requesting your entire Garmin data: https://www.garmin.com/en-US/account/datamanagement/ and click ‘Export Your Data’

Great! But what will Happen when I export all activities from Garmin and then Import it to AIE, will it double already existing workouts or does AIE recognize it?

I went for the safe option and asked the chat what the date of the earliest recorded activity in the calendar was. Then copied all my activities earlier than this date from the Garmin export into a new zip file and then imported the new zip file rather than the full Garmin export.

It will automatically handle duplicates: when the file already exists, it won’t create a new file.

Exception is is the existing activity is without HRV data and the file from the bulk fit upload does have HRV data, then the existing file is replace by the file with more information in it.
