Sorry if confusing. Autocalc is meant to populate the zones automatically so if you have entered anything before it will be overwritten. Manual setting is meant to overwrite autocalc
It would be nice if the autocalculated zones can be previewed rather than immediately applied, if there is some glitch you can’t go back to what they were before without writing them down / taking a screenshot first.

I have a related question: when does the system automatically adjust zones? I have got the endurance zone notification occasionally but not for the other zones (yet).
It looks after every import if zones computed from all activities during ~last 6 weeks are significantly different than the currently stored zones. If only some zones are different and others are similar enough only updating those is suggested, like in your case
Thanks. I was wondering because couple of weeks a go my threshold run power was set to 370 watt, after hitting Autocalc Zones it was changed to 336 watt. 336 watt felt much more accurate for me. But I expected the system to detect it sooner.
There was a bit of a problem indeed in that the job that creates the zone update notifications over night did not always finish and was failing without me being aware. Thanks for triggering me having a closer look, it should be fixed moving forward.
One thing though I noticed for your account: compliance is very good in which case we’ve set it up less trigger happy to send zone update notifications.

This may be coincidence, the auto detected zones for me seem more accurate today than when I created this thread.
there have been a few more improvements over the last few weeks, in particular aligning zone update notifications and the results of autocalc zones.
